CALL FOR ARTISTS
We are looking for participants to submit work for our May 2009 exhibition "Thinking in Time: Cross Generational Reflections on Change." Exhibition will be on view at the Common Cup Community Gallery, a storefront exhibition space coordinated by Insight Arts, from May 22 to June 19, 2009.
The aim of the exhibition is to begin a dialogue of ideas based on your writing, drawing, painting, photography, ideas, sound, performance work, etc. We would like to hear a variety of voices, from people of every age, background, political conviction, etc. The only requirement is that entries reflect the participant's definition of change.
What does change mean to you?
How do you communicate that to the people around you?
Are there things in the past, present, or future that influence how you feel about change?
Is there something that you would like to see changed?
How do your ideas differ from someone older or younger than you?
Deadline for submissions is April 25, 2009.
