A LIVELY DISCUSSION

What is it: A discussion on race, sexuality, marriage and Prop 8 facilitated by Nicole Garneau’s Making and Unmaking Whiteness Seminar class and Insight Arts. The conversation will begin with a dialogue on an article published in the Colorlines Magazine in April of 2009 entitled A Fragile Union by Kai Wright. 

When is it: April 22, 2010 at 7:00pm.

This program represents the service-learning component of the Cultural Studies course, "Making and Unmaking Whiteness." The program is supported by the Timothy J.
