Chili (meat or vegetarian) with two sides

PERFORMANCE
  • Songs of the Civil Rights era by Vernetta Rogers (protest, gospel/folk music)
  • Kahphira Palmer presents dance & movement performance.
  • Pintig CIRCA actors present a segment of "Alamat (Legends)... a journey to discover the past and forge a new beginning" in staged reading concerning World War II.
  • Filipino soldiers/sailors and the effort to regain identity, respect, and promised benefits from the U.S. government.

EXHIBITION ON VIEW
Visit the community gallery before 6 PM in the Common Cup Cafe to view the photography exhibition by Tessa Volini.  Photographs on view represent actions for social change.

Tickets are available at the Program Office within the Common Cup Cafe or from program participants.
