We are currently coordinating the 2012 season for Nights of Insight and are seeking proposals (due January 31, 2012)!   

Nights of Insight is a cultural event presented by Insight Arts that takes place every third (3rd) Friday of the month from 7 to 9 PM at Rumble Arts Center (3413 W North Avenue; 1st Floor, Gallery - a wheelchair accessible space).  Artists, poets, writers, spoken word artists, educators, filmmakers, dancers, performance artists + are all invited to submit. 



Nights of Insight provide a safe space where issues, ideas or movements can be explored and discussed critically.  If your work addresses issues related to economic justice, immigrant rights and racial justice, criminal justice, environmental justice, social justice or human rights this is the perfect venue for you.  Homophobia and transphobia will not be tolerated. 

PROPOSALS DUE JANUARY 31, 2012
Proposals should include a one page resume, artist or curator statement and a sample of the work (descriptions are fine).  If you are interested in presenting a Night of Insight on a particular month, please specify it on the proposal.
